A-SQUAD Records is an independent artist recording label established in 2006. It was created and born just outside of the nation’s capital by 3 young artists with a dream of creating the most talented record label the world has seen. Comprising of artists, producers, engineers and DJ’s, ASR is an all inclusive entity that eliminates the need of 3rd party management by including the artists and talent in all decision making and unbiased rendering of creative freedom. This philosophy eliminates excess funds or resources wasted and re-directs attention back to the the artist. ASR has grown since its establishment to expand from just hip-hop to pop and R&B and alternative genres of music. “Majorly Independent” is a mantra that is synonymous with the efficiency and caliber of music that is delivered to the fans and supporters. Our goal is to create more harmony and accessibility between the talent, fans and the media through unconventional methods while pioneering a new wave of legendary musicians.
